HERTZ CAR CARE CENTER
This facility was built across the street from the existing Hertz Car Sales facility on Highway 20 in Bend. It serves the sales and rental fleets as well as the general public. The three-acre site houses three structures. The largest, a 60' x 200' structure, was remodeled to house a retail area for vehicle accessories and rentals, an eight-bay vehicle service shop, and office and storage areas. Along the opposite side of the site is a new car wash facility, featuring state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly washing and waxing equipment. In between the service and wash buildings is a new fueling island. The remainder of the site is devoted to vehicle parking and landscaping. A complex system of piping, filters, pumps and bioswales manages stormwater and wash water.
