CAR SALES
The Medford Hertz facility follows previous successful projects for the same clients in Yakima and Bend. The largest of the three, the Medford project consists of two buildings on a four-acre site along the Crater Lake Highway, with 420 outdoor vehicle spaces. The 8,900 sf main building facing the highway is patterned closely after the Bend building, with offices surrounding a two-story, daylight filled sales and display space. Further back on the site is a 4,080 sf building containing four service and wash bays, storage areas and truck rental offices. Both buildings are of steel construction with stucco exteriors. This project was followed with a new, similar facility in Salem.
The Hertz Car Sales facility in Bend was named AIA Project of the Month by the Portland Chapter/American Institute of Architects and the Daily Journal of Commerce.
