This is the newest of several automotive facilities throughout Oregon and Washington for the same client. Located adjacent to the existing sales facility, it consists of two buildings--a car care center and car wash. The first was created from a former bowling alley--gutting it down to the original steel structure, building an entirely new front façade, and adding new openings and a stucco finish to the others. All interior components and systems are new. The front of the 12,000 sf structure houses offices and customer areas. The rear contains six service bays, two lube bays, parts and tool rooms, and areas for washing and detailing. It serves both the rental and sales fleets as well as the general public.
The new car wash building, patterned after another previously constructed in Bend, features large windows for daylighting and state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly washing, waxing and wash-water recycling equipment.
